Victoria again realized that her mother had won. Why does her mother always seem to get what she wanted? Victoria stormed away upstairs yet again. She knew that she would eventually have to put an end to this but she just didn’t know when. Victoria locked the door behind her, but this time she didn’t burst into tears. She knew she had to plan and she would have to be calculating.

Victoria called Craig on the phone. He was thrilled to hear her voice and to hear that she was okay, but when he heard why Victoria had called him, Craig began to get incredibly worried. Victoria told him that she wanted them to lay low for a while. She told him about the threats her parents had made and how she was actually worried this time that they would make good on them. Her mother was no joker. June had been through hell to get to where she was, and she would go through hell to keep her daughter away from anything she perceived as dangerous. When Craig heard all of this, he agreed that they should lay low. He wanted to tell Victoria that he loved her. He wanted to apologize to her for causing so much trouble with her family. All he did was let her hang up, and he was left alone with his own thoughts and worries.
